Restraining orders, whether they're based on domestic violence, elder abuse, or civil harassment, require a lot of the same information, and Verbeck Law uses this worksheet to gather information from clients in order to make sure their RO requests can be processed quickly. A lot of the information that the state requires for a RO isn't on the request form; it's on the CLETS form, which tells law enforcement agencies how to enforce an RO after it's granted. We file the request and the CLETS together, of course, so don't be surprised when we ask for more information than is on the RO request forms.
